Apple Macs : Vulnerable As Well?

I was surprised to read recently published news about Apple.
First : patch fixes for worms and security flaws.
Next : News of easy hacking.

The Mac enthusiast who demonstrated this tells Zdnet that OS X contains "easy pickings" when it comes to vulnerabilities that could allow hackers to break into Apple's operating system. That said, it doesn't have the market share to really interest most serious bug finders," Guys – serious statement. Personally I can't take it at face value that vulnerabilities/bugs do not get spotted owing to low volumes - in fact the mindhsare of Apple with the public was always disproportionatly higher even in pre-iPod days. Over to Apple for a response.
