This is an amazing slideshow of New Orleans pre and post Katrina. The city itself actually weathered the hurricane pretty well; it was the next days' flooding that turned things into a catastrophe. An amateur photographer- Alvaro's snaps appropriately titled, "Five Days With Katrina" – Great pictorial of a resident's eye view of New Orleans and what Katrina did to her,told as only someone who lived there could tell it. The pictures are a story in themselves, but the commentary provides a more filling perespective - Future generation would keep studying this set of snaps.
