Blo.gs Finds A Suitor

The long rumoured one has come true. Niall Kennedy points to Jim Winstead’s announcement that BLO.GS has been sold to an undisclosed buyer and the site will change hands on or after June 13. The new owner will "continue providing the same features that exist now, and will be working on making blo.gs even better."
Blo.gs is a pretty large ping beacon, and Niall is right that the company wanting to move into the space purchased blo.gs for its ping beacon.Other than that not sure what value the acquirer could see in blo.gs which did not extend its service beyond pinging for a long long time.Atleast I have not used it for beyong pinging.
