Siebel's first quarter performance has a new victim – its CEO – the well known Mike Lawrie. Siebel announced that board member George Shaheen will take over as CEO. Shaheen is former CEO of Webvan, and led Andersen Consulting (now, Accenture) before that. Quite unexpected,as Mike seemed determined to make the transition of Siebel towards providing on-demand solutions.
