Nielsen NetRatings reports a 200+ percent increase in visitors to the Mozilla -Firefox Web site -a clear pointer of the browser platform increased usage and popularity. The data for top Web brands, based on visitors, rates Yahoo as no.1 with Microsoft and MSN in second and third place, respectively and ahead of Google. The document has interesting observations like -"Males, often the early adopters of technology and gadgets, dominated FireFox’s site composition during the month of March 2005. Men account ed for 71 percent or nearly 1.9 million site visitors, compared to the women who comprised of 29 percent or the minority population who visited in March 2005".
