Fred Wilson's Internet Axis Of Evil

Fred Wilson has an interesting post about what he calls as the Internet Axis Of Evil. Excerpts:

The list currently, includes:
Spam and Viruses;
Adware/Spyware;
Comment Spam/Link Spam;
DNS Hacking;
Phishing;
The new addition – the seventh scourge, click fraud.- It is perpetrated by the same kind of slimy people who do the other stuff. It's bad news for every marketer who uses CPC advertising to drive traffic to their sites. And its the same kind of problem in that you can contain it, but you can't stop it.The only good news in all of this is that there's money in containing these problems as companies like Symantec, McAfee, Trend, BrightMail, Postini, Webroot, and many others have shown.
Keeping a network open has its downside.And we all have to spend a lot of time and money making sure that we are protected from them.This burden can not be wished away but the key thing to note is over a period of time, solutions emerge to manage these.
