Mary Hodder writes, Bloglines Sold To AskJeeves!! That's the scoop. Ask Jeeves is integrating Bloglines into their search system (it's not yet live on their main site, till Monday) adds Mary Hodder.
It is to be noted however that on Ask Jeeves new blog (it's a new born baby, three days old!) at the top, search, and the sidebar, Top Blogs and Most Popular Links go straight to Bloglines. I am sure the price must have been really good for Mark Fletcher to have considered - recent studies showed bloglines was consolidating and increasing its lead among the aggregators - bloglines is my avourite aggregator as well.Only hope that this service gets better.The choice of suitor surprises me - I would find a google buying bloglines would make enormous sense - askjeeves buying bloglines - lets wait and see.
