Firefox :13 + Million Downloads in Seven Weeks

(Via Jeremy Zawodny) Asa Dotzler has published weekly download information of FIrefox - Almost 14 million downloads in seven weeks - Firefox is set to enter the centerstage of browser market. I have sometimes noticed almost about 25% browser marketshare in my traffic analyser - though the average could be around 18% to 20%.Surely, the geeks seem to have embraced Firefox in quite signficant numbers. Also refer our reently published articleFirefox Is To IE in 2004 What IE Was To Netscape In 1996. Surely the NYT ad helped, but as Jermey points out, the intangibles from the ad far outweigh the shear number of downloads.
