David Sifry,CEO Technorati writes abour Technorati launching "Related Tags". Just check under the Tag description on most tag pages, like this one, or this one,and you'll see the patterns and Dave likens this to the emergence.
My Take: This is a significant step forward. Technorati should publish details and explain the generation and revisions of related. This is like creating the taxanomy structure- so have got to be done very carefully and also we may need to bring different categories of association. One approach could be to create a wiki of related tags.
